Tennessee High School Basketball - Sequoyah knocked off by Lenoir City

The Lenoir City Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Sequoyah Chiefs to 39 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fulton for a 3A District 5 contest on Friday, January 20. Lenoir City will meet a Falcons team coming off a 61-51 league win over South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 14-5.
The Chiefs (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Polk County ran past Meigs County (Decatur, TN), 53-51, in a non-league contest.
