The Macon County Tigers basketball team (Lafayette, TN), dropped 58-40 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN)
The Owls now possess a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watertown for a 2A District 6 battle on Friday, January 20. Smith County will battle a Purple Tigers team coming off a 61-47 non-league loss to White House (White House, TN). The Purple Tigers record now stands at 6-13.
The Tigers (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Cumberland County (Crossville, TN). The Jets come into the 3A District 7 battle with a 3-17 record. In their last battle, Cumberland County dropped by White County (Sparta, TN), 70-51, in a league battle.
