The Sherman Tide basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Man Hillbillies to 39 in the Tide non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tide now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River View for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Sherman will battle a Raiders team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Grundy (Grundy, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-4.
The Hillbillies (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Lincoln County prevailed over Wayne (Wayne, WV), 53-51, in a non-league contest.
