The Maple Grove Red Dragons basketball team (Bemus Point, NY), was toppled 60-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Westfield Wolverines (Westfield, NY)
The Wolverines now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Panama for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West battle on Friday, January 20. Westfield will confront a Panthers team coming off a 41-34 league win over Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.
The Red Dragons now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Sherman for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West outing on Friday, January 20. Maple Grove will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-32 league win over Brocton (Brocton, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.
