Melba Mustangs (Melba, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marsing Huskies (Marsing, ID), 70-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Melba upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID) to play the Chargers in a 2A Western Idaho bout on Friday, January 20. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Cole Valley Christian won 70-50 in their recent league bout against North Star (Eagle, ID)

Next up, the Huskies play the Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho bout, on Friday, January 20. Marsing will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 77-75 league loss to The Ambrose School (Meridian, ID).
