The Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, OH), 59-53 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Centerville (Centerville, OH). The Elks go into the Greater Western Ohio test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Centerville got by Southern California Academy (Castaic, CA), 48-40, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Xenia for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Troy will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 59-36 league loss to Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-6.
