North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT), 56-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Country Union upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a Lake bout on Saturday, January 21. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Missisquoi Valley lost 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against Middlebury (Middlebury, VT)
