Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Milo Adventist Academy Mustangs (Days Creek, OR), 40-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Powers upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Cruisers travel to North Douglas (Drain, OR) to play the in a 1A Skyline bout on Friday, January 20. The come into the bout with a record of 10-5. North Douglas won 71-37 in their recent non-league bout against Mohawk (Marcola, OR)
