Nebraska High School Basketball - Minden edges St. Paul

The Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) basketball nipped the host St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE), 59-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Whippets (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Holdrege (Holdrege, NE). The Dusters go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Holdrege got by Southern Valley (Oxford, NE), 60-31, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Centura for a C1 District 10 test on Tuesday, January 24. St. Paul will encounter a Centurions squad coming off a 50-29 non-league loss to Centennial (Utica, NE). The Centurions record now stands at 4-10.
