The Mission San Jose Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Newark Memorial Cougars to 39 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Logan for a Mission Valley contest on Thursday, January 19. Mission San Jose will battle a Colts team coming off a 85-59 league win over Kennedy (Fremont, CA). The Colts record now stands at 11-6.
The Cougars (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Fremont, CA). The Huskies enter the Mission Valley contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Washington triumphed over Irvington (Fremont, CA), 59-42, in a league contest.
