Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ), 43-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Sussex County Tech upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The host North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ) to play the Patriots in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial bout on Thursday, January 19. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-8. North Warren Regional lost 63-61 in their recent non-league bout against High Point (Sussex, NJ)

Next up, the Devils play the Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial bout, on Thursday, January 19. Morris County Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 49-25 league loss to Vernon (Vernon, NJ).
