Tennessee High School Basketball - Northview Academy topped by Morristown-Hamblen West

The Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Northview Academy Cougars to 47 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson County for a 4A District 2 contest on Friday, January 20. Morristown-Hamblen West will battle a Patriots team coming off a 72-40 non-league loss to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 6-10.
The Cougars (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN). The Green Hornets come into the 3A District 3 contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Carter was defeated by Fulton (Knoxville, TN), 53-51, in a non-league contest.
