Mountain Area Christian Academy Lions (Morganton, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host White Creek Christian Academy Eagles (Cleveland, GA), 63-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain Area Christian Academy upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Lions travel to North Georgia Christian Academy (Ellijay, GA) to clash with the Knights in a GCAA Region I bout on Thursday, January 19. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Trinity Classical (Clarkesville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. White Creek Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 72-64 non-league loss to Eastgate Life Academy (Hiawassee, GA).
