The Westborough Rangers basketball team (Westborough, MA), dropped 70-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Nashoba Regional Chieftains (Bolton, MA)
The Chieftains now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakmont Regional for a non-league battle on Friday, January 20. Nashoba Regional will battle a Spartans team coming off a 60-39 non-league loss to Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-1.
The Rangers (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Crusaders come into the Midland-Wachusett B battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Groton-Dunstable prevailed over North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA), 51-42, in a league battle.
