The New Hope Christian Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Prospect Cougars to 57 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yoncalla for a 1A Skyline contest on Friday, January 20. New Hope Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 52-44 league loss to Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 4-8.

The Cougars (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rogue Valley Adventist (Medford, OR). The Red Tail Hawks enter the 1A Mountain Valley contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Rogue Valley Adventist nudged Trinity Lutheran (Bend, OR), 57-44, in a league contest.
