The Nocona Indians (Nocona, TX) basketball felled the visiting Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX), 34-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (13-11) will now prepare for their test against Olney (Olney, TX). The Cubs go into the 2A Region II District 9 test with a 7-19 record. In their last test, Olney thwarted Petrolia (Petrolia, TX), 55-54, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Seymour for a 2A Region II District 9 test on Friday, January 20. Windthorst will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 63-33 league win over Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 16-6.
