South Carolina High School Basketball - York ripped by Northwestern

The Northwestern Trojans basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting York Cougars to 38 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Pointe for a AAAA Region 3 contest on Friday, January 20. Northwestern will battle a Stallions team coming off a 64-58 league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 9-6.

The Cougars (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Bruins enter the AAAA Region 3 contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Lancaster triumphed over Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 65-61, in a league contest.
