With the win, Oakdale upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Coalfield (Coalfield, TN) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 4-11.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Sunbright Tigers (Sunbright, TN) in a 1A District 3 bout, on Friday, January 20. Wartburg Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Rockwood (Rockwood, TN).
