Victory Baptist Warrior (Loganville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors (Buford, GA), 81-77 in a league bout.

With the victory, Victory Baptist upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Warrior host Sugar Hill Christian Academy (Sugar Hill, GA) to play the Stallions in a GCAA Region II bout on Thursday, January 19. The Stallions come into the bout with a record of 1-10. Sugar Hill Christian Academy lost 58-45 in their recent league bout against Old Suwanee Christian (Buford, GA)

Next up, the Conquerors play the Philadelphia Christian School Eagles (Calhoun, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Old Suwanee Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 0-0 league Dogwood Christian Academy (Tunnel Hill, GA).
