The Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team (Pearl, MS), dropped 54-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Winston Academy Patriots (Louisville, MS)
The Patriots now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leake Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 battle on Friday, January 20. Winston Academy will battle a Rebels team coming off a 66-23 league win over East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 16-10.
The Crusaders (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Cougars come into the MAIS 5A District 2 battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Simpson Academy prevailed over Lamar (Meridian, MS), 64-22, in a league battle.
