The Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN), 70-57 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their test against La Crescent (La Crescent, MN). The Lancers go into the AA Section 1 test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, La Crescent notched a victory over Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN), 67-43, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Kasson-Mantorville for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Zumbrota-Mazeppa will encounter a Komets squad coming off a 70-41 non-league loss to Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Komets record now stands at 6-5.
