Kentucky High School Basketball - Wolfe County winner over Powell County

The Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY) basketball felled the visiting Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY), 76-68 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wolves (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Bobcats go into the District 55 test with a 9-7 record.

The Pirates now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Prestonsburg for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19. Powell County will encounter a Blackcats squad coming off a 91-75 non-league win over Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Blackcats record now stands at 12-4.
