The Summit Tamalpais Timberwolves basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Quarry Lane Cougars to 48 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Timberwolves now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21.

The Cougars (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Summit K2 (El Cerrito, CA). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Summit K2 was nudged by Leadership Public Schools Richmond (Richmond, CA), 63-43, in a non-league contest.
