The Woodstock Wolverines basketball team (Woodstock, GA), was nudged 49-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rome Wolves (Rome, GA)
The Wolves now possess a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allatoona for a AAAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 20. Rome will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 56-50 league win over Creekview (Canton, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-12.
The Wolverines (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Eagles come into the AAAAAA Region 6 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Etowah edged Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA), 77-72, in a non-league battle.
