Georgia High School Basketball - Schley County can't hold off Sherwood Christian Academy

The Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Schley County Wildcats to 58 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skipstone Academy for a GAPPS - I-AAA Region 4 contest on Friday, January 20. Sherwood Christian Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 43-33 league loss to Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
The Wildcats (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Webster County (Preston, GA). The enter the A D2 Region 6A contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Webster County was nudged by Manchester (Manchester, GA), 64-16, in a non-league contest.
