The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) basketball nipped the host Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), 50-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Raiders (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Cranford (Cranford, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Cranford got by Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 68-61, in a league test.
The Hilltoppers now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Oratory Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19. Summit will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 46-43 non-league win over Hillside (Hillside, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 6-6.
