The Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets basketball team (Spencerville, MD), was nudged 50-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers (Washington, DC)
The Panthers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandy Spring Friends for a Potomac Valley battle on Thursday, January 19. St. Anselm's Abbey will battle a Wildebeests team coming off a 91-23 league win over Washington International (Washington, DC). The Wildebeests record now stands at 12-7.
The Hornets (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Burke (Washington, DC). The Bengals come into the Potomac Valley battle with a 0-4 record.
