Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Willamette Valley Christian Warriors (Brooks, OR) and the visiting St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR), saw Willamette Valley Christian's basketball squad hold off St. Paul by a tally of 41-38.

With the victory, Willamette Valley Christian improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Perrydale (Amity, OR) to confront the Pirates in a 1A Casco challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Perrydale won 58-25 in their recent league challenge against Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR)

Next up, the Buckaroos confront the Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. St. Paul will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 55-19 league win over Glenwood (Glenwood, WA).
