The Voorhees Vikings basketball team (Glen Gardner, NJ), was nudged 69-64 in Tuesday's league battle with the host The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ)
The Big Blue now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren Hills Regional for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. The Pingry School will confront a Blue Streaks team coming off a 75-65 non-league loss to Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 3-6.
The Vikings (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Somerville (Somerville, NJ). The Pioneers come into the Skyland - Valley battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Somerville edged North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ), 56-55, in a non-league battle.
