Texas High School Basketball - Yorktown overwhelmed by Woodsboro

The Woodsboro Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Yorktown Wildcats to 37 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Three Rivers for a 2A Region IV District 31 contest on Friday, January 20. Woodsboro will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-41 league win over Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-5.
The Wildcats (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Marlins come into the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 18-8 record. In their last contest, Port Aransas triumphed over Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX), 51-36, in a league contest.
