The Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ), 62-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Coyotes go into the test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Centennial got by Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ), 71-49, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kellis for a test on Thursday, January 19. Willow Canyon will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 57-17 league loss to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
