In Tuesday's league outing, the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), by a margin of 56-35.
The Miners (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins go into the outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Ponderosa smashed Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 64-41, in a league outing.
The Hillmen now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oakmont for a outing on Wednesday, January 25.
