In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Hephzibah Rebels basketball team scored a tight 44-38 triumph over the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers.
In their next game, the Rebels meet the Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA) in a AAA Region 4 match, on Friday, January 20. Hephzibah will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Razorbacks enter the match with a 14-4 record after their 55-33 league win over Morgan County (Madison, GA).
With the defeat, Academy of Richmond County moves to 4-7 on the year. The Musketeers travel to Salem (Conyers, GA) to meet the Seminoles in a AAA Region 4 test on Friday, January 20. The Seminoles go into the test with a record of 1-12. Salem lost 60-37 in their recent non-league test against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA)
