The Albany Hornets basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Pine Raiders to 28 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bogalusa for a 3A District 7 contest on Friday, January 20. Albany will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 53-50 league win over Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 6-3.
The Raiders (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sumner (Kentwood, LA). The Cowboys enter the 3A District 7 contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Sumner was routed by Amite (Amite, LA), 66-19, in a league contest.
