In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Algona Bulldogs basketball team scored a tight 34-28 triumph over the Hampton-Dumont Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 19. Algona will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 58-49 league win over South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA).
