California High School Basketball - Sacred Heart of Jesus routs Alverno Heights Academy

January 17, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90031

In Tuesday's league outing, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Alverno Heights Academy Jaguars (Sierra Madre, CA), by a margin of 60-17.

The Comets (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against San Gabriel Mission (San Gabriel, CA). The Pioneers go into the Soledad outing with a 0-12 record. In their last outing, San Gabriel Mission was trounced by Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA), 33-3, in a league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Family for a Soledad outing on Thursday, January 19. Alverno Heights Academy will clash with a Gaels squad coming off a 77-19 league loss to Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA). The Gaels record now stands at 4-14.
