The Anacoco Indians basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Hicks Pirates to 40 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainview for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Anacoco will meet a Hornets team coming off a 66-50 league loss to Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 8-13.
The Pirates (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Tigers enter the B District 4 contest with a 20-11 record. In their last contest, Pitkin was nudged by Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 75-68, in a league contest.
