Nebraska High School Basketball - Pleasanton can't hold off Ansley/Litchfield

The Ansley/Litchfield Spartans basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Pleasanton Bulldogs to 43 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Loup for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Ansley/Litchfield will battle a team coming off a 40-27 non-league win over Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The record now stands at 8-5.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE). The Buffaloes come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Elm Creek edged Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE), 49-19, in a non-league contest.
