The Athens Christian Eagles basketball team (Athens, GA), dropped 61-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA)
The Wildcats now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elbert County for a A D1 Region 8 battle on Friday, January 20. Rabun County will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 63-17 league win over Commerce (Commerce, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 16-3.
The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA). The Indians come into the A D1 Region 8 battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Tallulah Falls dropped by Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA), 52-31, in a non-league battle.
