In Tuesday's league match, the host Edgewood Academy Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 49-18 triumph over the Autauga Academy Generals.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Evangel Christian Lightning (Alabaster, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 19. Edgewood Academy will attempt to better on its 18-0 season record. The Lightning enter the match with a 6-7 record after their 69-48 league loss to Wiregrass (Dothan, AL).
With the defeat, Autauga Academy moves to 1-4 on the year. The Generals travel to Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL) to play the Colts in a AISA AA Region 1 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 9-7.
