Arizona High School Basketball - Bagdad overwhelmed by Salome

The Salome Frogs basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Bagdad Sultans to 8 in the Frogs league victory on Tuesday.

The Frogs now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Pasqual Valley for a 1A West contest on Thursday, January 19. Salome will battle a Warriors team coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.

The Sultans (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Antelope (Wellton, AZ). The Rams come into the 1A West contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Antelope triumphed over North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 38-28, in a non-league contest.
