The Barbour County Jaguars basketball team (Clayton, AL), was nudged 60-53 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL)
The Rebels now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. Long will battle a Eagles team coming off a 66-42 league loss to Charles Henderson (Troy, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.
The Jaguars (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Ariton (Ariton, AL). The Purple Cats come into the 2A Area 3 battle with a 3-5 record.
