Connecticut High School Basketball - Harding ripped by Bassick

The Bassick Lions basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Harding Presidents to 22 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stratford for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Bassick will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 78-50 league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-7.
The Presidents (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT). The Governors enter the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Wilbur Cross was routed by Foran (Milford, CT), 61-26, in a league contest.
