The Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) basketball knocked off the host Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR), 57-46 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR). The Rams go into the 5A South test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Lakeside went down by El Dorado (El Dorado, AR), 63-57, in a league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Arkansas for a 5A South test on Friday, January 20. Sheridan will encounter a Razorbacks squad coming off a 42-38 league win over Pine Bluff (Pine Bluff, AR). The Razorbacks record now stands at 4-11.
