Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX), 36-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Pearce upgrades its record to 14-13 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Nimitz (Irving, TX) to clash with the Vikings in a 6A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 8-16. Nimitz lost 61-45 in their recent league bout against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Irving Tigers (Irving, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, January 20. Berkner will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-17 record after their 47-36 league loss to MacArthur (Irving, TX).
