Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX), 54-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 2A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, January 20. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Hull-Daisetta won 62-57 in their recent league bout against Evadale (Evadale, TX)

Next up, the Oilers clash with the Deweyville Pirates (Deweyville, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, January 20. West Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 41-7 league win over Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX).
