Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA), 57-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Amat upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA) to play the Belles in a Camino Real bout on Thursday, January 19. The Belles come into the bout with a record of 14-9. St. Mary's Academy lost 57-50 in their recent non-league bout against San Fernando (San Fernando, CA)

Next up, the Valiants play the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a Camino Real bout, on Thursday, January 19. St. Genevieve will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 55-43 league win over Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA).
