Faith Academy Flames (Marble Falls, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Reicher Catholic Cougars (Waco, TX), 43-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Faith Academy upgrades its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Flames travel to Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX) to play the Falcons in a TAPPS 3A District 3 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 9-13. Live Oak Classical won 41-37 in their recent league bout against Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders (Round Rock, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 3 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Reicher Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 61-34 league loss to Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX).
