In Tuesday's league outing, the Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA) basketball squad edged the host Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), by a margin of 46-40.
The Huskies (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats go into the Raccoon River outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Carlisle held off Norwalk (Norwalk, IA), 55-38, in a non-league outing.
The Toreadors now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ballard for a Raccoon River outing on Friday, January 20. Boone will clash with a Bombers squad coming off a 64-30 league win over Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bombers record now stands at 11-2.
