The Boonton Bombers basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Whippany Park Wildcats to 15 in the Bombers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bombers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Lakes for a Freelance contest on Thursday, January 19. Boonton will meet a Lakers team coming off a 39-32 non-league loss to Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 5-5.
The Wildcats (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ). The Vikings enter the Freelance contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Villa Walsh Academy ran past Dover (Dover, NJ), 35-9, in a non-league contest.
